A week in pictures...

Thought I would catch everyone up with pictures from the past week...
Callie now goes to time out. All you have to do is say "if you do that one more time you will have to go to time out" and she walks over to the chair, sits down, and pouts. I think she secretly loves it because she gets to be like her big brother.
Nana bought Callie some new Puma's....I absolutely love them!!
We had family over yesterday. My cousin Danny, Jason, and Jeff were in the backyard throwing around the football when Bryce told them he wanted to play too. Danny looked at him and said "okay, here ya go" and launch a pass at him. and by launch I really mean launched (across my entire backyard from fence to fence). Bryce stood there watching the ball coming at him with his hands up like he was really going to catch it. The ball went straight through his open hands and hit him right above the eye. He flew backwards and landed spread eagle on his back. No crying, no noise whatsoever. He was okay, just a little shocked. Here is a pic of his eye today. The kids had watermelon with dinner tonight...and it made me realize that summer is right around the corner. Why is it that eating watermelon always brings you back to your childhood?

her first sentence

I walked into Callie's room and she looked at me and said "uh oh Momma, baby fell" and pointed at her baby doll on the floor. I just stood there staring at her trying to process the fact that she just spoke her first complete thought. She is growing up so fast!!!

thank you God...

Every night at dinner Bryce says the blessing. We haven't taught him a memorized prayer (God is great, God is good...you get the idea). Usually he just says "thank you God for our food. Thank you for mommy and daddy and Callie (sometimes he lists out everyone he has ever met), Amen. Tonight this was his prayer...

"Thank you God for Go-Karts, Jumpy places, and my motorcycle game. And thank you for Maxi and Hershey. Amen".

I love seeing the world thru the eyes of my four year old.

Bryce's view on modeling....that's dumb

Callie had her first ad come out last weekend! We were all very excited. We tried really hard not to make a big deal out of it in front of Bryce. I finally decided to show him the picture. He proceeds to tell me..."I saw it already mom". Thinking he was feeling a little left out, I then asked him if he wanted to have his picture in the paper too. His reply...."no way mom, that's dumb!". I guess I was worrying about it for nothing!!

Here is the picture for the sale catalog....her next one comes out the week before Memorial Day.
