Honesty

Bryce is the most honest child I know. He will just come right out and say whatever he is thinking. If he feels like he might get into trouble (i.e. Bryce...did you just draw on Maxi with markers?), he will just stand there and look at you. Here are two of my favorite examples of his brutal honesty..

Bryce: Mommy...can I have more twizzlers?
Me: No Bryce, you had enough.
5 min later...
Me: Bryce what are you doing?
Bryce: Me and Callie are trying to sneak twizzlers but you caught us.. Actually, we already snuck a couple before you caught us.

Two days ago, on a trip to stride-rite, Bryce decided to jump from a shoe display to a bench that was at least 5 ft away. It did not go as he planned. After a stern talking to, he had to apologize to the store clerk. Later that day we had the below conversation...
Me: Bryce! Please stop jumping off of the couch onto the ottoman. You know you are not allowed to do that. Didn't you learn your lesson at the shoe store today?
Bryce: Nope
